3 Ups And 4 Downs From WCPW Loaded Episode 11

1. A Hard-Fought Win

Joseph Conners Loaded 11 WCPW
Oli Sandler/ The Ringside Perspective

The main event of the show saw WCPW Champion Joseph Conners defend his championship against Drew Galloway, and the bout was great. Conners is such a solid hand - the kind of guy who usually blends in and wouldn't get a chance to run with a top title, so it's refreshing to see him get such a chance. Galloway, meanwhile, is a really dynamic worker - he's always exciting and he manages to use his size without coasting on it.

The match was a long contest, but it kept building up in terms of excitement. The end played off the existing storyline, as Conners hit Galloway with a DDT off the apron onto the floor, re-injuring his head. After that, Conners was able to hit the Righteous Kill DDT back inside the ring and score the pin.

Following the match, Martin Kirby - who will be challenging Conners for the championship at Refuse to Lose - came down to the ring and the two got into a fight. This felt a bit forced, as there hasn't really been much buildup, but it was understandable for the end of a go-home show.
