3 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE NXT 402
2. No Way José Vs Cezar Bononi
NXT are still plugging away with Dominican dynamo No Way José, who returned after an absence to face Brazilian competitor Bononi. The match was a simple affair where José did most of the heavy lifting, and it existed primarily to restart José's feud with another midcard returner, Andrade 'Cien' Almas.
Bononi looks like a Create-A-Wrestler with most of the defaults left on, right down to the tribal tattoo. The commentators worked hard to sell his Brazilian Jujitsu background but he didn't get the chance to show it.
José, meanwhile, didn't do anything more than his dancing idiot schtick, in a match that wasn't offensive but definitely felt like something that had to be got over and done with before the angle with Almas could be regurgitated for another run. The most entertaining aspect was Nigel McGuinness' Heenan-esque dislike of José on commentary.
