Before he confusingly left his WWE Intercontinental Title laying on the stage, The Miz was a huge part of opening SmackDown the right way. Dolph Ziggler has been wheeling out awesome promos for a while now, and it seems he's headed for a collision over the secondary gold with Miz at Backlash.

That would be a fine choice of opponent for the arrogant heel, he needs someone special to work with again. Trading back-and-forth verbal fire in the middle of the ring to open this week's show, Miz and Ziggler looked motivated and excited to be working together again.

Dolph said that Miz made some valid points about how hard he was working, but that everyone could also see through the charade of his macho persona. In a cool moment, Dolph was game for fighting, but the heel backed off. A good heel should never do what a babyface tells him to.
