30 Most INSANE Things Wrestlers Have EVER Said On Live TV

13. Kurt Angle - "Bestiality"

Kurt Angle has delivered some of WWE’s most memorable promos, but one disturbing line from 2005 stands out as the most infamous verbal misstep of his career.

In the midst of a deeply uncomfortable storyline where he openly fantasised about sexually assaulting Booker T’s wife, Sharmell, Angle cut a promo that took an even darker turn. Mid-rant, the Olympic Gold Medalist declared his “vice” for “gutter sluts” before shockingly admitting he dreamed of “perverted sex… bestiality sex” with Sharmell.

Whether he misspoke or genuinely didn’t know the difference between bestial and bestiality, the damage was done. Even the lesser of the two meanings was still utterly vile, raising serious questions about why WWE thought it necessary to frame a legitimate wrestling icon as a deranged predator in the first place. The entire angle felt like another twisted indulgence from Vince McMahon’s warped creative vision. Sadly, it wasn’t the first - or last - time WWE turned something truly abhorrent into on-screen canon, pushing boundaries that had no business being pushed.
