After Shawn Michaels enters the ring and pulls off the astonishing feat of eliminating both Vader and Yokozuna at the same time, Vader re-enters the ring, beats up Michaels and throws him over the top rope, before throwing Owen Hart over the middle rope, and also eliminating Triple H and Bob Holly. However, after Vader is escorted from the ring area, all three eliminated men are in fact allowed back in the ring, contradicting the conventional rules that no matter how you are thrown over the top rope, it counts, regardless of whether or not the perpetrator is a legal entrant in the Rumble. Sadly, it kinda taints HBK's second Rumble win, as runner-up Diesel would otherwise most likely have won it.
