The Rock isn’t the only WWE legend to grace the silver screen - and no, I’m not talking about the various wrestlers who’ve leaped at the chance to get a few weeks off the house show loop by pretending to be a loose cannon of some sort in a WWE Studios straight-to-torrent abortion.

No, I’m talking about Rey Mysterio. His uncle, the first Rey Misterio, was the monstrous, homicidal luchador El Mascarado in 2006’s unintentionally hilarious Wrestlemaniac - and Rey-Rey himself also had the possibility of a burgeoning career in front of the camera in 2003’s Freddy Vs. Jason.

Can’t remember him in the film? It’s not surprising. Mysterio was the stunt double for Robert Englund in the boiler room dream scenes. When Freddy’s leaping around the pipes, that’s actually WWE’s littlest big man.

Wait. Biggest little big man. Litterbug man. I don’t know.
