Recently, WWE has reduced the size of their entranceways to cram more fans in behind the stage. Not only does that look awesome, it also shows that business is hot as hell. Older fans may look at these sets and start reminiscing about the old Madison Square Garden layout. Any excuse, eh?

The lay of the land for SummerSlam 1998 and Royal Rumble during the 'Attitude Era' was class. It’s how MSG should look for WWF/WWE shows. The shorter entrance ruled, and seeing the set in the background of fresh hard cam shots added a unique flavour to these pay-per-views.

It'd be lovely if WWE could experiment more with this sort of thing in the modern era.
