Sure, the main event 'Us vs. Them' was what everyone wanted to see and RVD vs. Jeff Hardy was a good time, but...everything else? Nah. Bouts like Raven vs. William Regal, Tajiri vs. Tazz, the six-man tag and APA vs. Chuck Palumbo and Sean O’Haire had no business on PPV.

None of them felt big enough to merit the promotional war tag either. They were the kind of fare you'd expect to see on 'C' tier programming like Metal or Heat, and that says it all. Invasion was one of the most historic one-off pay-per-view in WWE history, but the undercard was shockingly poor.

To paraphrase Regal, the nonsense that went on there was unbelievable.
