3. Eddie Guerrero vs. Terry Funk (May '89)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzu756A62hM The best match in the feud between Terry Funk and Ric Flair actually has nothing to do with either Terry Funk or Ric Flair. It's scrappy underdog babyface Eddie Guerrero (yes, THAT EDDIE GUERRERO) who really makes this special and actually makes everything else that follows in the feud worthwhile. Terry Funk is only three weeks separated (in TV time) from having piledriven Ric Flair on a table and broken his neck. Thus, piledriving Eddie Guerrero on the arena floor because he's proving to be too difficult an opponent is one step away from pure evil. As well, Guerrero's timing in this match is outstanding, and arguably on the level of Ric Flair versus Vader. Loutish jerk asshole crazy redneck Funk is in his finest hour here, and for Eddie? Well, it's the first of many incredible moments in his career overall.
