In theory, 1997-era Diamond Dallas Page wrestling 1997-era Randy Savage shouldn't be all that great. In 1997, DDP was one year removed from being the surprise winner of WCW's "King of the Ring"-style "Battlebowl" tournament. Also, in 1997 Randy Savage was literally one decade removed from wrestling Randy Savage at Wrestlemania III.
