Byron Saxton claimed that Charlotte made her WWE main roster debut in July of last year as part of the Divas Revolution.

It isn't as if Charlotte was an unknown either. She was NXT Women's Champion for crying out loud and clearly destined for the success she's enjoying now. It remains one of the more peculiar booking decisions of recent years.
