Hogan went with his real name, Terry Bollea, when starting out in 1977, but when he arrived in the Alabama territory he was rechristened Terry Boulder. Along with Ed Leslie (Brutus Beefcake in the WWF) he formed the Boulder Brothers, with Leslie going as Ed Boulder. There were several WTF aspects to all of this - the matches were bad (no surprise with Leslie involved), Hogan's promos were unusually bland (see video below), and worst of all Hogan's chest hair resembled a set of balls and a penis.
