This one almost harks back to the days of Hulk Machine. Once again, you've got a hot star under contract, so what do you do with him? Give him a new name and put him under a mask! Even though the whole world knew that Mr America was in fact Hulk Hogan, it was still a major cheapening of the star. For a month or so, Hogan went under the Mr America name and likeness, with the ultimate idea of working a mask versus hair match with Mr McMahon. But things never got that far. Hogan quit mid-storyline, perhaps realising that the creative was killing him.
