Hogan's now back with the WWE and enjoying the role of global ambassador. But he's still prone to the occasional WTF moment. Take for example when WWE trusted him to open the show at WrestleMania 30. Off he went cutting his promo, telling the New Orleans crowd "First off, I'd like to welcome everyone here at the Silverdome to WrestleMania 30." He went on, "Fast forward 30 years later, WrestleMania 30 right here in the Silverdome, I can't believe I'm the special host here for WrestleMania." There was just one problem. Hogan wasn't in the Silverdome, he was in the Superdome. The Silverdome had been the Detroit location for WrestleMania 3, where he'd slammed Andre The Giant. It had long since been torn down. The crowd laughed and started chanting, forcing Hogan to acknowledge his error "I'm sorry, it is the Superdome, brothers. I was just thinking about body slamming Andre the Giant, but yes, we are here in the Superdome without a doubt." When Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock then joined Hulk in the ring, they ribbed him mercilessly about it.
