For another example of how swiftly the hammer comes down within WWE, consider this: Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins won the Raw Tag-Team Titles during the WrestleMania 35 Kickoff show. Just over one year later, both are gone from the company.

That brief moment in the spotlight was one of many for two lifelong fans who were never on top of Vince McMahon's priority list. Indeed, WWE's disinterest in Zack as anymore than as a lower card act was clear for all to see when he was hot sh*t in 2011.

They could've pushed him to the moon then, but they didn't.

Both have a lot of experience, and they could help many fledgling stars on the indy scene or in AEW if they were interested. Whether you're a fan of the pair's lovable loser gimmicks or Ryder's zany 'Woo Woo Woo!' chat or not, nobody can deny their passion.
