Ex-TNA man Eric Young was surplus to requirements as soon as the SAnitY stable crumbled in 2019. There were a lot of concerned glances amongst fans when Young was drafted to Raw on his lonesome that year, and with good reason. He's not the kind of wrestler who's likely to succeed on his own in WWE.

Those fears were proven correct this week.

Though Young held on for a little longer than some expected, he has been released from his deal and pushed off into the uncertain waters of post-WWE life. A return to Impact Wrestling might be on the cards, or Young could find work in the revamped NWA, ROH or (maybe) AEW.
