A complete miscalculation that saw the glamorous 'Mania premise stretched thin and stretched out across three dimly-lit host cities - pointless, given that the stretched budget rendered the arenas almost indistinguishable - the WWF went overboard, too, on low-rent celebrities at WrestleMania II. One such celebrity was Clara Peller who, underscoring the folly of including so many untrained names, wasn't even capable of spouting her catchphrase correctly on the night.
