33 WWE WrestleMania Opening Matches Ranked From Worst To Best

32. Tag Team Battle Royal - WrestleMania XIV

Triple H Daniel Bryan WrestleMania XXX
WWE Network

From the insulting to the insultingly tedious, the Tag Team Battle Royal opening of an otherwise very good WrestleMania XIV was almost the antithesis of the hot opening match. Slow, confusing and bereft of heat, it works only as a trivia round in a quiz, in that it was contested by a murderer's row of the obscure, from the lower reaches of Los Boricuas to the lower reaches of the Truth Commission.

WrestleMania XIV came agonisingly close to breaking the WWF's pay-per-view buy rate record. This match succeeded in breaking the record for most worked punches thrown.
