16. Neville/Dynamite Kid

The Dynamite Kid changed the landscape of professional wrestling. What he was doing during his heyday was simply mind-blowing.

A short, stocky English technician, Kid’s offense was highly innovative at the time and he was viewed as an impressive high-flyer. This, though, is all relative. What Dynamite was doing would these days just be viewed as standard practice, but if it wasn’t for Dynamite Kid in the first place then said manoeuvres wouldn’t even be being used as much today.

Enter, Neville. The former PAC is similarly a shorter guy with an impressive physique, is clearly English, and regularly pulls out hard-hitting moves that leave those watching with their jaws on the floor. Sure, he may not have the vicious streak of Dynamite, but it can be argued that's maybe for the best considering how things sadly panned out for Dynamite Kid.

Of course, there is a lesson to be learnt here, for Dynamite Kid’s body would end up breaking down due to his in-ring style and his use of steroids and pain pills. Luckily, wrestlers these days are generally far smarter when it comes to looking after their bodies.
