'Silent' Brian Mackney passed away on 7 November at 77 years old.

Though not a directly recognisable name, Mackney gained national attention in the eighties as the first deaf wrestler to compete for the WWF, becoming a regularly featured enhancement talent on the company's All Star Wrestling program. He ended his career working for Vince McMahon, his final outing being on the 23 August, 1986 broadcast against The Killer Bees, teaming with the unmatched light heavyweight great, Les Thornton.
