7. Kane (SmackDown)

The chances of Kane being assigned one of the GM positions over other top candidates after he was publically dismissed by both Shane and Stephanie - especially Stephanie - are slim. However, of the former authority figures paraded on WWE programming in recent weeks, Kane is the only one who would be worth signing.

Kane is clearly in the twilight years of what has been a highly successful wrestling career and he is widely regarded as a fantastic worker by his peers. Versatile in his performing skills, Kane is also lauded as one of the most reliable men in the industry. An open invitation for a position behind the WWE curtain is likely already available to him, and this may be the perfect transition.

As an added bonus, Kane doesn't need to completely give up wrestling. Further than just being a GM, Kane possesses the added quality of still being able to produce inside the ropes when required. The half-Director-of-Operations-half-demon side of Kane was only explored for a few months and it proved to be quite entertaining.

Kane's selection may be a stretch, but it can't be doubted that he would make for an extremely entertaining GM, especially under the watch of a wary Shane McMahon.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
