4 Positives And 4 Negatives From WWE Battleground

3. Bray Wyatt Keeps Losing

At WrestleMania XXX, John Cena overcame his deepest doubts and demons to beat Bray Wyatt. Wyatt then enlisted the help of his family €“ and a 10-year-old boy €“ to defeat Cena, before Cena stood tall in the rubber match. Coming off a high profile feud that he lost, Wyatt got paired with another great talker in Chris Jericho. It seemed like this would be a perfect match, with Y2J showing in his recent runs little hesitation in putting over new faces (Fandango, anyone?). And then Jericho won clean as a sheet at Battleground. Wyatt needed a victory Sunday night to get back on track. It could have been by dubious means to set up a rematch. He could have lost after interference backfired. If WWE is building to a big rematch at SummerSlam, Bray losing in the center of the ring without a hint of controversy or doubt was the absolute wrong way to do. Sure, Wyatt has said before that wins and losses don€™t matter much to him, but at some point very soon, fans are going to lose patience beyond the ultra-cool entrance and tune out.
