With IMPACT Slammiversary 2022 now in the record books, four of the promotion's championships changed hands at this big 20th anniversary spectacular - which took place two decades to the day since the very first NWA-TNA show.

In the opening match of the PPV, 'Speedball' Mike Bailey defeated Ace Austin, Trey Miguel, Kenny King, Alex Zayne and Andrew Everett in Ultimate X to become the new X Division Champion. Going into that bout, it was Bullet Club's Austin who held that particular piece of gold.

Up next at Slammiversary, Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie bested The Influence's Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. After a knee to the face of Rayne from Taya, Rosemary then put Madison away with a Butterfly Buster to get the 1-2-3.

Later in the show, the Good Brothers once again became the IMPACT Tag Team Champions, defeating the Briscoes in a ten-minute affair after nailing Jay Briscoe with the Magic Killer. This marks Gallows and Anderson's third reign with the top prize of the company's tag division. Post-match, the America's Most Wanted tandem of James Storm and Chris Harris - one of the greatest tag teams in TNA/IMPACT history - came to the ring and shared a toast with the Good Brothers and Dem Boys.

Going on second-to-last, the Queen of the Mountain bout for Tasha Steelz's Knockouts Title was won by Jordynne Grace. Clocking in at over 18 minutes, Thick Mama Pump hit her patented Grace Driver on Steelz before hooking the Knockouts Championship and winning the match in a contest also featuring Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green and Mia Yim.

Elsewhere at Slammiversary, Digital Media Champion Rich Swann successfully retained that title against Brian Myers on a pre-show that also featured Shark Boy winning a Reverse Battle Royal. On the main PPV card, the other matches saw Sami Callihan beat Moose in a brutal Monster's Ball Match, the IMPACT Originals got the better of Honor No More in five-on-five action, and IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander was victorious over Eric Young in a barnburner of a main event.
