4 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (June 16)

2. Slick Trios Action

Will Ospreay AEW
AEW

Here's something that'll catch attention from a few folks. This fan personally prefers Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher and Jeff Cobb as a unit compared to Ospreay, Fletcher and Mark Davis. Why? Well, Cobb's power game is unmatched; some of the spots he worked in that opening trios bout must be seen to be believed.

Ospreay was clearly the focal point due to his involvement at Forbidden Door, but Cobb stole the show by blasting Best Friends with some killer moves that showed off his strength. His power is borderline frightening, to tell the truth, and the whole match was really well-worked.

Logic is all over the place in these six man showcases, but it is what it is. If you manage to switch off the psychology-obsessed part of your wrestling brain and just watch, then you'll see some cool stuff and have a magic time. Besides, the pace wasn't breakneck 100% of the time here.

Slick sums it up.
