4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec. 13)

1. Dynamics All Over The Place

Big E Bobby Lashley
WWE

Can someone out there smarter please explain the dynamics of the WWE Championship title picture?

Big E is the babyface world champion, yet he’s been shunted to the background in recent weeks, taking a backseat to Seth Rollins’ incessant promos. He was the last man to face Bobby Lashley on Monday, so when he lost to a man who had already wrestled twice, it made him look like less of a champion than before.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins are the heel contenders who are suddenly comedy villains incapable of foiling Bobby Lashley. Meanwhile, Lashley has gone from heinous former champ to ex-Army amateur wrestler who slaps hands with fans, but then also has his manager attack the world champ to secure victory.

Who are we really supposed to rally behind here? Yes, E is still the big babyface, but his presentation in recent weeks has been a huge disappointment, and Lashley has been made to look like the bigger star the past two weeks. That kind of confusion is never a good thing.
