4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec. 13)
Ups…
4. Otis Looks Like A Beast
If there’s one thing WWE has started doing recently that’s worth paying attention to is how they’ve talked up and actively protected Otis.
The big man has been part of a not-so-successful tag team for a while now, but he hasn’t been on the receiving end of any of those pinfalls. And on Monday, Otis challenged Riddle in a one-on-one match that saw him shrug off much of the Original Bro’s offense, including an attempted RKO, which he turned into a World’s Strongest Slam for the win.
And just to drive the point home afterwards, he pushed Randy Orton off when the Viper tried an RKO and laid him out with a running back elbow.
If there’s any consistency here, it looks like WWE is planting the seeds for Otis to go on a singles run, either while still part of a tag team or not.
