4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Feb 18)

Orange Cassidy Hybrid 2
AEW

There's your man, Orange Cassidy, enjoying his own handiwork after a crafty interference in Best Friends vs. The Hybrid 2. With Evans perched on the top rope, OC hopped onto the apron, peppered his kickpad-clad shins with lethal chops, then stepped out of the way as Angelico charged with a bump kick, the momentum knocking Jack from the top. Both TH2 men lost their b*llocks. You love to see it.

This was an act of revenge from Cassidy, who was slapped to the ground by Angelico earlier in the match, drawing big heat - as these spots always do. It also led to the finish, with Best Friends hugging it out then nailing Strong Zero for the win seconds later.

Worked just above a house show clip, this was a solid battle between two mid-level teams. Jack Evans' unending obnoxiousness and flip dives were the biggest non-Cassidy highlight and him and his partner once again paid tribute to the departed La Parka with their skeleton attire. They're a great team for this losing role, with their loss warming Best Friends up for the battle royal.
