4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Feb 25)

1. Exactly What The Exalted One Ordered

The Dark Order
AEW

The dirty little secret about The Dark Order is that Grayson and Evil Uno are very, very good between the ropes, despite their gimmick. This doesn't get pointed out enough. They're a fluid, cohesive, and exciting tag team who look like they belong in a tag division as talent-rich as this one, and they proved it against last night.

The Dark Order vs. #STRONGHEARTS sat somewhere in the ***1/4-***1/2 region. Both sides worked hard with the eight minutes they had and while traditional tag pacing places a clear ceiling on a match this short, there was little to complain about here. Exploratory opening phrases unravelled into fast, explosive sequences like CIMA and T-Hawk tandem diving onto all four Dark Order full-timers, but it was Grayson and Uno who shone the brightest, first downing Hawk when he was thrown into a powerbomb before hitting the Fatality for the W.

CIMA is in an interesting place at the moment, having been handed a Dark Order mask on last week's Dynamite. This defeat should only strengthen the group's desire to recruit him.
