4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (April 22)

Downs...

2. Still Not That Interesting

Jeff Hardy AEW 2023
AEW

This has to be Jeff Hardy's last chance, man. Tony Khan has stood by him patiently during Jeff's latest bout of personal problems and drama, but the AEW chief can't be expected to do that forever. Hardy must take full responsibility for what happens next. Regardless, it is great to see him smiling again.

Jeff got his time in front of fans, revealed he plans to stay in AEW for good, then The Firm attacked. Being totally honest, that was a stark reminder of everything wrong with this ongoing feud. It just isn't really that interesting. In fact, seeing Jeff back in a wrestling ring again was the only hook for this segment.

This "Firm Deletion" thing? Bland.

It'd be great if AEW did something else with Ethan Page (in particular) sooner rather than later. He's totally lost in Stokely Hathaway's half-baked group, and the less said about Big Bill or Lee Moriarty the better. They're just sort of there, and fans are apathetic towards them.
