4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 11)
1. Doesn’t Need To Be On There
Nobody's trying to do the Aussie Open lads out of a booking at Wembley or anything, but sticking them vs. MJF and Adam Cole on the pre-show at All In is questionable. In fact, having MJF and Cole work multiple matches and team together before wrestling on the same card is a bit balls.
Not a fan.
Fans in London should see both for the first time when they come out for the so-called main event, not on the 'Zero Hour' pre-show. Also, it's kinda funny that AEW ran a video package hyping up the ROH Tag belts as prestigious, then said: 'Yeah, they're only on the pre-show at Wembley lol!'.
Nothing about this screams good idea. Sure, Tony Khan might want to reward Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher with a match on a stadium show in the UK (the place both made names for themselves on the indy circuit), but diluting the World Title scene's importance just to do it is a bit thick.
