4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage: Beach Break (Jan 28)

Ups...

4. Arn’s Boy Has Improved

Brock Anderson Arn FTR

Brock Anderson was far from ready for AEW television when he started popping up alongside his father and Cody Rhodes last June. Cries of nepotism littered social media, and perhaps rightfully so. Young Brock looked like he'd been asked to run before he could walk, and he didn't deserve the TV minutes.

Good news: Anderson has ironed out some kinks.

He's improved mightily since those tag matches with Cody. A sustained run of bouts on Dark with regular partner Lee Johnson has let the duo build up some much-needed chemistry too; this might've been the first time that Brock looked able to justify his shot on one of the biggest shows.

Being in the ring with FTR helped, obviously. Those two could carry feckin' ironing boards to a cracking match on their day. Thankfully, they didn't need to do too much carrying here, because Anderson and Johnson brought it and were keen to make an impression.
