4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage: Beach Break (Jan 28)

3. The Solid Title Defence Express

Gunn Club Jurassic Express
AEW

Jurassic Express running through a good few tag-teams and being positioned as fighting champions is great news for the entire division. There (unnecessary Matt Hardy distractions aside) was nothing particularly wrong with this headliner vs. Private Party. In fact, it was a decent little effort.

Post-match, The Gunn Club decided to strike. That was another good idea. Billy Gunn's lads have been waiting for an opportunity, and they've clearly got the same smarmy heel grins their dad had during his prime down to a fine art. The way they posed with the belts like they've been holding them all along was nice.

AEW set Austin and Colten up as future challengers to Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy. No arguments here - the babyfaces needed a quick turnaround after beating Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen so emphatically. Here's hoping creative give this Gunn Club shot some build.

Oh, and put it on Rampage in a featured spot. Another main event, maybe?
