4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (March 15 - Results & Review)

Ups...

4. Best Friends Deliver Yet Again

Best Friends Orange Cassidy Trent Beretta Chuck Taylor
AEW

This won't be a shocker to anybody, but Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta make a really good team. They're actually an improvement on Trent's union with Chuck Taylor, and the pair have started to string some wins together on TV before this tourney kicks off for the vacant AEW Tag-Team Titles.

That's a good sign. Speaking of good, the Best Friends had a decent match vs. Kip Sabian and The Butcher last week. Then, they delivered yet again on Friday opposite Dark Order. Yes, this guy is beyond bored of the Order, but they were perfectly fine opponent for a setup pre-tournament match like this one.

Beretta scoring the pin for his squad again makes him seem on par with Cassidy too, which hasn't always been the case whenever they've joined forces. Now, the besties will run into some of Don Callis' crew on Collision, so they're probs out of the tourney early.

Building them slowly via more matches even if they get eliminated is a neat plan though.
