4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage: St. Patrick's Day Slam (Mar 17)

1. Honestly? Pretty Boring!

Chris Jericho Daniel Garcia JAS

The main event was worse mind.

Brody King vs. Daniel Garcia was just a snoozefest of a match. It certainly didn't do much to inspire confidence in the upcoming HOB vs. JAS Trios Title clash; Garcia's "sports entertainment" heel heat section was far too long, and Brody barely got a lick in until the end.

It was kinda like these guys were crawling through sludge at times, and everyone knew Chris Jericho (baseball bat and all) was going to interfere at some point. So, most in the stands sat on their hands waiting on the inevitable. Then, when it came, they cheered (Winnipeg). That made the heelish moment feel strange.

Daniel Garcia is an excellent young wrestler, and King is a good monster in House Of Black. They didn't mesh well together though, and so your writer never wants to see this match happen again. Sorry if that's harsh, but it wasn't good.
