4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage: St. Patrick's Day Slam (Mar 17)

2. Some Entertaining Skits

Don Callis Konosuke Takeshita

There were two very "sports entertainment" skits on this week's Rampage.

First up, Matt Hardy and some other members of The Firm helped train Stokely Hathaway for his upcoming match with Hook on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite. This was played for laughs, of course, but it was brief enough to get some giggles without growing tiresome.

Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita stole the spotlight with their own segment though. Callis, who is trying to woo Takeshita and become his new manager, welcomed the Japanese star to Winnipeg by putting on a hilariously low key musical celebration. The whole thing left Konosuke confused and almost embarrassed.

His facial expressions were priceless, and Don knows how to play the out-of-touch goof perfectly. Yep, these guys could work some magic together if this is anything to go by. Plus, having someone to cut promos on his behalf will be a positive for Takeshita.
