4 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (9 Aug - Results & Review)

Downs...

2. Still Treading Water

The Street Profits B-FAB

The Street Profits and A-Town Down Under might as well have nodded at one another like, 'This sh*t again?'. Both teams are treading water, and it's starting to hurt hopes that WWE will ever get moving on Austin Theory's babyface turn. That split story with Grayson Waller needs to get its arse in gear, people.

Then, there's the curious case of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. They're always serviceable in-ring, but the act is totally bland at the moment. Shedding Bobby Lashley but retaining B-FAB without any context hasn't helped. It feels really boring that The Profits could be right in the mix challenging for the tag titles again.

They need something new.

It says everything for SmackDown that both 'Downs' weren't even that bad, but man...it'd be cool if Ford and Dawkins weren't just doing the same thing they've been doing since forever. They're clearly going through the motions as a team in 2024, and it sucks to see.
