4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Jan 13)

1. Another WWE Dig

"AEW should just stop talking about WWE full stop though". So much for that! Rampage included another segment that referenced Vince McMahon/Triple H's company, and it was totally senseless. Actor Paul Walter Hauser showed up to say he "bypasses Connecticut and goes straight to Jacksonville".

OK?

Here's the thing: AEW doesn't look big time when it allows comments like this to air on telly willy nilly. The promotion actually looks small time when they aren't. It would've been better had Hauser gushed with praise for All Elite's product, or said his favourite wrestlers were on Dynamite/Rampage, but no - he had to take a little shot at WWE.

Stop this madness! The angle that followed with Danhausen, Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Best Friends etc was totally fine, but the whole skit seemed to be an excuse for a crossover celeb to say mean things about "the other show".

Yuck.
