4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (June 23)

2. This Was Entertaining

QTV Harley Cameron Johnny TV
AEW

First of all, big pop for Harley Cameron hitting on Anthony Bowens only for The Acclaimed member to tell her he's gay. That prompted a booming, "HE'S GAY" chant from the live crowd as Bowens grinned from ear-to-ear in-ring. That was one of many excellent moments from a surprisingly giggle-filled segment.

Cameron trying to out rap Max Caster worked. Her confidence and composure on the mic stood out too, because most workers newer to a promotion might let boos intimidate them or ruin their flow. She's supposed to be hated, so it's a good thing Harley rolled with the jeers.

Johnny TV re-debuting in AEW and aligning with QTV is an interesting choice, but let's not dump on it before things develop. If nothing else, this skit showed Tony Khan what he has on his hands with Cameron. She has excellent poise on the mic.

Enjoyable sports entertainment goofball fun that clicked. Can't argue with that.
