4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (June 23)

1. All Aboard The Skye Blue Express

Skye Blue is going to be a star.

She's already well on the road towards becoming exactly that, and scored another well-worked win over Anna Jay during Rampage's Owen Hart tourney qualifier. AEW is about to strap a rocket to Blue, and it'll work. She's genuinely fresh in a major company, and has unlimited potential.

Of course, there will be hiccups along the way (it'd be unrealistic to claim otherwise), but it's lovely to see a push like this one. Both Skye and Willow Nightingale deserve every bit of success coming their way. They richly deserve the spotlight, and are grasping the opportunity with both hands.

Post-match, Skye looked into the camera and said, "My time". That's something most would've missed, 'cause All Elite cut to a video package shortly afterwards. Now, Blue has a guaranteed clash with the winner of a Dynamite bout pitting Ruby Soho vs. Britt Baker.

Beat one of them and she'll be the female division's next breakout star.
