4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 18)

2. Sports Entertainment LOL

OK, so this "sports entertainment" chatter could get old fast.

Nobody should have a problem with Chris Jericho mentioning it occasionally, because it's his gimmick, but none of the other commentators should be joining in or echoing what he's saying. Everyone has to pick their spots with this, 'cause it could become rather annoying if they're not more reserved.

The way Taz tried to explain how Leyla Hirsch should arm bar Red Velvet in a "sports entertainment style" was plain weird, and it didn't work. This is the point here: AEW should know that there's nothing especially "sports entertainment" about a submission hold that's used in bloody MMA.

How can someone lock on a submission "in a sports entertainment style" anyway? Honestly, the announcing quartet (maybe not Excalibur) went a little too heavy on this "sports entertainment" stuff when they didn't need to. They forced it in for no reason at all.
