4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (May 5)

Ups...

4. If You’re Gonna Spotfest, Do It Right!

Lucha Bros and El Hijo del Vikingo vs. QTV was spot after spot after spot, but it was entertaining carnage. Some of Vikingo's stuff still looks sloppy and dangerous to yours truly, but everyone got away with it here and the match didn't suffer for some of his miscommunication with QT Marshall.

Rey Fenix was as smooth as ever, and Powerhouse Hobbs got to look dominant for a spell. If only the babyfaces had set up tables in the opposite corner though - he wouldn't have been able to figure it out, and would've spent the whole match baffled.

Summing it up, this trios match was a fun car crash.

QT took a nasty Canadian Destroyer on the ring apron, Aaron Solo looked good when he was in there, and the live crowd seemed to have fun with what they were seeing. All six men also got a decent chunk of time to work with, which was appreciated.
