4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (May 6)

2. Move This Along

Sure, interactions between Hook and Danhausen are undeniably entertaining, but AEW has to start moving their story along before it gets too tedious. Fans clearly want Hookhausen to be a thing, but all these delays and the constant potato chip references aren't helping.

They're annoying, being honest.

How long are they gonna spin this out before Hook accepts his curse-bestowing weird little wannabe mate as a tag-team partner? What are AEW waiting for here? Danhausen and Hook could become Rampage regulars as a duo and stack up wins that eventually lead to an unlikely title shot. They could, but they're not.

Taz was remarkably quiet on commentary following Hook's win over JD Drake too. It's almost like he knows that his boy's ice cold character is in danger, but he doesn't want to outright say it. That's obviously a guess, but it makes sense.
