Intrigue.

That one component can make up for a lot of shortcomings in wrestling. If fans have questions to ask, and they want to know the answers to them ASAP, then promotions can string them along for a ride and buy themselves some breathing space. That's what's happening with Dante Martin.

Put it this way: Team Taz courted Martin for a spot in their midst on Rampage. Will he accept? Will Dante say no? What does Lio Rush think about all this? Would a heel turn even work for the high-flying babyface? So many questions to answer, and AEW knows it.

Dante bagged a fine win over Ariya Daivari here, then pondered the Team's pitch. He'll probably turn that one down and end up feuding with Ricky Starks or Powerhouse Hobbs. That'd be a fine use of him, but they better let lil' Lio chime in on all this over the next few weeks.
