4 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Nov 15)

2. Chaos! Chaos Everywhere!

SmackDown Women's Brawl

Raw closed with a huge chaotic brawl between both brands' men's teams, and SmackDown continued the theme last night, only with the women. Nikki Bella and Carmella were embroiled in a No Mercy rematch when Raw's Charlotte showed up to poison the well. It didn't take long for Nikki to get distracted and strike Charlotte, and when the match was called-off, Raw's women's team invaded.

A fight broke-out, but unlike the men, SD's women were successful in fending-off their Raw rivals. Nia Jax missed a spear and sent herself flying through the barricade, Naomi scored a big dive, and the blue squad stood tall. Lesson of the week: don't invade your opposing brand without expecting to get beaten up for your troubles.

As nonsensical as both sides' premature togetherness is, Raw did an excellent job of building excitement for the men's match, and SmackDown the women's. This segment wasn't quite as heated as its Raw counterpart, but the crowd absolutely lapped it up, and it sent the blue team into Survivor Series on a high note. The Raw team will walk-in as rightful favourites, but if the likes of Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss can resist the urge to strangle each other mid-match, they might just pull it off.
