2. Dennis Hunts Down Coffey

The latest instalment of Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions talk show skit saw him joined by a returning Gallus, this being their first in-arena appearance since dropping the tag titles to Pretty Deadly. As far as this is concerned, it was WWE booking at its worst, thinking Noam having to sit on the metal chairs while Gallus took up his comfy sofa was f*cking hilarious television. It’s sh*te.

Eddie Dennis saved the day, though, with ‘The Pride of Wales’ taking a jab at Joe Coffey for avoiding him throughout his entire NXT UK career thus far. Cue Primate and T-Bone to jump Wolfgang and Mark Coffey from behind, leading to an alright six-man brawl, setting up Dennis vs. Joe for next week and, presumably, Wolfgang and Mark vs. The Hunt for further down the line.

This was fine. It delivered what it needed to do in that it perfectly set up a contest between Eddie Dennis and Joe Coffey, a match that surprisingly hasn’t been done in NXT UK thus far. It’s genuinely a TakeOver-worthy match, and could easily one day be an NXT UK Championship contest; for now, let’s enjoy what will be a great bout.
