4 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (26 July - Results & Review)
2. Jacob Fatu Makes The Difference
Hey, it's make a difference Fatu.
That's a joke for the older fans out there. Y'know, ones who happen to enjoy 1995 WWF. Jacob replaced Tonga Loa in the tag-team gauntlet, and that proved to be a shrewd decision from Triple H. Fatu has been fabulous since debuting. He shone bright yet again here, and ended up being the decisive factor for Solo Sikoa's Bloodline.
There's something special about this dude. It's early days, but it defo looks like WWE signed a success story in waiting. Saying that, it might be wise to keep the tag straps off him right now. There's no need to cut DIY short just so Bloodline 2.0 has some gold. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa deserve a chance.
Here's hoping The Street Profits got a pat on the back from Papa H when they returned back through the curtain too. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were the undoubted MVPs of the gauntlet, but it was Jacob Fatu who came across as the biggest star in the match.
