Ups...

4. Ricochet’s Working Boots

There wasn't much buzz for the 12-man Gauntlet bout when WWE announced it. Some of the names, like The Viking Raiders, Los Lotharios, Jinder Mahal, Shanky and Drew Gulak, didn't come across as credible challengers for the Intercontinental Title at all, so few fans were genuinely invested.

Praise the lords for Ricochet then.

It's maybe not surprising to the guy's longtime fans, but Rico looked awesome here, and WWE came through for him by booking wins against Sheamus, Humberto and Jinder before the flyer found Sami Zayn to be one step too far. Now, if only they'd capitalise on this performance by actually giving Ricochet some purpose, eh?

He's damn good as an underdog babyface who never stops fighting/doesn't know when he's beat. Ricochet brought his working boots to this SmackDown Christmas special - fingers crossed the promotion reward him for his efforts.
