Onto the good stuff SmackDown had to offer.

A relatively short backstage skit between GM Nick Aldis and comeback hero Randy Orton was good, clean fun. Aldis rightly fined Randy 50k for hitting him with an RKO last week (just because he could). Firing back like only he can, Orton wrote a check for 100k and that confused the boss.

Explaining, Randy said: "That's for next time". In other words, last week won't be the last time Nick's nose meets the canvas courtesy of "the three most dangerous letters in WWE". This was tremendous sh*thousery from Orton, but Aldis still got to look authoritative in the end.

He booked Randy in a tag match with LA Knight (vs. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso) that the 'Viper' didn't actually want any part of. WWE stars often get criticised for failing to come across as real human beings, so it was nice to see Orton remark that he doesn't know LA and thus probs can't trust him.

Slick segment, lads.
