3. These Guys Are Great Together

This fan could watch Santos Escobar vs. Dragon Lee every single week.

Chemistry counts, and these guys have it. They worked an undercard treat back at Survivor Series: WarGames, and the pair were up and at 'em again on SmackDown. WWE handed Santos and Dragon approx a minute or so longer than they got on the most recent PLE, but one gets the impression they'd make chicken salad from chicken you-know-what even if Triple H gave them five mins.

Some online seem upset that Lee took the fall before wrestling Dominik Mysterio at NXT Deadline this weekend. Fair enough, but the alternative would've been rotten. Those same folks might've complained about Mysterio getting involved in a hot match for the cheap screwy finish, so it was better this way.

Besides, Escobar is in the middle of a pretty sizeable push. It's hardly a problem that he's picking up wins on his own and looking strong before Rey Mysterio returns. Ace workers can lose but still look good doing it. Dragon Lee will be absolutely fine coming out of this weekend.
