4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Battle Of The Belts V

3. It’s The Little Things

Don't worry, Jade Cargill vs. Skye Blue gets an 'Up', and there's a lot of gushing praise for what those ladies achieved to come. However, it'd be a lie to suggest that the post-match shenanigans involving Red Velvet worked out as AEW might've hoped they would.

Jade strolled up the ramp whilst Velvet was still there, then turned her back on a rival before Red had headed for the exit. That was a bit silly, if only because there was nothing stopping Velvet from sprinting back out and attacking the TBS Champ from behind.

Why would a smart athlete like Jade leave herself vulnerable like that? She didn't even get Leila Grey to watch her back and make sure Velvet didn't try anything. This is the most minor of minor gripes, but it's still valid. The little things matter.

They matter a lot.
